After lunch, we were walking back to class when I saw my friend, Esther, struggling with her books. She had a big pile, and some kept falling down. Everyone else was rushing, but I stopped and asked if I could help.

She smiled and said, “Yes, please.” I carried half of her books while she held the rest. We walked slowly and talked. She said I saved her from dropping them all in the mud.

I felt proud — not just because I helped her, but because I remembered what Jesus would do.
