Let your smile be your divine deed!

Hello Divine Deeds family!

This week, we are excited to launch a super simple but very powerful kindness mission:
👉 The “One Smile” Challenge!

💡 What’s the challenge?

Smile at five different people during your day — it could be your classmates, teachers, school cleaner, a visitor, or even someone who looks sad or shy. A real, friendly smile can brighten someone’s heart, even if you don’t say a word.

🧠 Why does this matter?

A smile might look small, but it can do BIG things:

  • Make someone feel noticed and accepted
  • Help a shy or lonely friend feel included
  • Turn someone’s bad day into a better one
  • Start a conversation or even a friendship!

And the best part? Smiling feels good for you too. 😊

📖 What does the Bible say?

“A cheerful heart is good medicine.”Proverbs 17:22

When we smile from the heart, it’s like sharing a little medicine for the soul — for ourselves and for others.

📝 Your Challenge Instructions:

  1. Smile at five different people this week
  2. Try smiling first — don’t wait for them to smile at you!
  3. Think about how they reacted. Did they smile back?
  4. Write or draw your experience and share it with us!

🌟 Bonus Ideas:

  • Add a kind word with your smile (“Hello!” or “I like your drawing!”)
  • Smile at someone you don’t usually talk to
  • Smile at home — your parents and siblings need kindness too!

Let’s fill our classrooms, playgrounds, and homes with the joy of kindness — one smile at a time.

Are YOU up for the challenge?
Let us know how it goes by sending your short story, drawing, or reflection to the Divine Deeds Gallery!

✝️ Smiles are free. But they’re worth so much more when shared with love.
